In the beginning of 2011, the journalist Roberto Fonseca who wrote about beers for the caderno Paladar<\/strong> in the newspaper O Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo, published 60 opinions about the best of 2011 in several categories in his blog.<\/p>\n

He already tasted Petroleum in this #degustwit<\/a>. And we followed his suggestion, we tested it in wood barrels.<\/p>\n

Despite of the fact of he said to do not count the votes in his twitter account<\/a>, and the votes aren’t an award<\/a>. It is more a panel about 2011, even so we decided to count them.
\nAs he noticed the production of W\u00e4ls Petroleum before the release<\/a>, we hope he don’t get upset about that, mainly cause the t-shirts we did.<\/p>\n

We would like to thank all the people who vote on Petroleu, we are so amazed and surprized, cause it’s a very strong beer and it was make for our taste!<\/p>\n

After to summarize the panel’s votes, we realized we was voted 17 times in the Best Homemade beer category, also it was the beer with more votes in all the categories. The second was the Schiehallion from Harviestoun with 15 votes. And in the third place there is a draw, Bierland Vienna and Seasons Green Cow IPA with 14 votes.<\/p>\n
